EINDELIJK terug binnengekregen !
Na maanden van nieuwe contacten leggen en proefzendingen doen, hebben we terug super mooie Pt. ALTUM bekomen.
Deze ALTUM scalares zijn gevangen in Ventuari, vlak bij Atabapo in het Orinoco gebied van VENEZUELA. Dit is zonder twijfel de top van de ALTUM scalares. Het is voorzien dat ze verkoopbaar zijn vanaf zaterdag 25 februari, voor meer informatie kan u ons steeds contacteren. Lago Paraconi discus.
The fishing season of the wild discus has been properly started.
Eric and Benny have just returned from a double expedition in Brazil, and this with a beautiful result.
One trip was direction Alto Nhamunda (the upper part of Nhamunda) and the other location was Maracana, the giant lake sixty miles before Nhamunda city.
These fishermen have been working for more than 12 years with us and had a fine collection of discus for our collection.
A few months ago we had send a group of our fishermen to Maues areas because we know that a lot of beautiful red - brown discus came from there years ago.
Months ago we start with some trial fishing around Maués till they discovered the perfect igarape (side stream) to Lago Paraconi. In this igarape they find the best discus in terms of red color and body shape.
There is only one drawback and that is the distance between the trapping place and the first navigable waterway. In order to bridge this distance the fish must be moved about 80 km by truck, to the passenger boat.
The total transport time to Manaus thus remains limited to 36h and the discus get beautiful and fit on our farm in Manaus.
The quality of Lago Paraconi discus is so beautiful and good that these discus surpass discus of a much more expensive price range.
The first Lago Paraconi and Nhamunda discus have been placed in the store and there are few imports coming later on.
